Sunday Salon - A Week Without Reading

There is book I haven't been listed all the time as that I am reading because I am not really reading it as in participating in with the routines in the book

This was the only book I read this week.   One of the routines was to not read anything for a week! As creative beings this is a hard one to do the first thing we come up with is creative reason of why we can't not read, but I did it I made through and rest my eyes for a week felt pretty good actually. Yesterday was the hardest not to pick up a book and just read while I relaxed especially since I was just getting over a cold and starting to feel better.

That doesn't mean I neglected the blog this week even though I did not participate in the events as I usually do.

Last Week we had :

Wow, a week without reading sounds...empty? Maybe I need a week like that, just to vegetate and create more of my own writing.

Something to think about. Thanks for sharing....

At the bidding of my younger son, I attempted this week to write about something other than books on my Sunday Salon. Here's my post. I hope you will stop by and ask my son (politely, of course) to mind his own business!

I can see that the challenge you undertook this week is just the thing my son would like to see me attempt!

It would be hard for me to go a week without reading. I think it would be refreshing, but I would get behind on my TBR and I would be bored in waiting rooms. However, I am trying to focus more on my own writing this summer.

A week without reading would be very difficult for me, however my eyes may thank me for it!! Glad to know that sore and tired eyes are something we all face as reviewers and bloggers and it's not just me needing higher prescription glasses! LOL!
