What is it About?

The Heroes of Olympus is a spin off of the series Percy Jackson and Olympians.  We find in this book that Percy is missing and new hero leads us, Jason.   This newbie and his two friends find themselves in trouble with monster and some memory problems.   Jason doesn’t know the people around him or himself.  Jason and his friends fight to find Percy and save the world.

My Thoughts:

While this might have a similar formula to The Lightning Thief but felt the this was more fun to read then TLT.   Maybe because I knew what I was getting into.  I like the mixture of Roman and Greek Mythology.   The new characters, Jason and friends, definitely had different personalities then Percy, Annabeth, and Grover.

I enjoyed it and will read the rest of the series hoping to see more of Percy and Annabeth as the series goes.
