I would definitely prefer to own my books. I love being surrounded by my books.
Own, for sure. I feel like I never end up reading them if I borrow them. Plus it's kind of a collecting thing. I'd like to have somewhat of a library in my house one day. :P
I definitely agree that owning books is the best. However, unlike you, I have a really, really hard time letting go of my books so I'm not sure I could convince myself to swap books! I guess that makes me a bit of a hoarder...
It's a good idea, to opt for swapping books after you're done with them. Would definitely leave you with more space for more!
