Booking Through Thursday

Do you buy books while on vacation/holiday?
Do you have favorite bookstores that you only get to visit while away on a trip?
What/Where are they?

I don't usually buy books when on vacation. I do go into a bookstore when or where ever I see one. I always tell my husband if you lose me look in the area with books. He says he learned that a long time ago. lol One of my favorite books stores on vacation was a bookstore in Ireland. Three stories and it looked so small from the outside but was huge on the inside. It was a used bookstore with many old books it was beautiful.

was your irish bookstore in dublin? i remember so many beautiful used bookstores there :-)
as for your question, i meant the literary plans were more for San Fran :-) I don't think of Vegas as literary but I'll be seeing a close friend who lives there, so maybe she knows a good place to go! :-) naturally I shall report back!

Great answer! Oh my goodness, I would love to get lost in the bookstore you described in Ireland, what a wonderful way to spend part of your vacation :)

Happy Reading!

I think it's cute that your husband already knew where to look.

I found that same used bookstore in Rochester England. ;-)

And I usually tell people to meet me at the bookstore while on vacation, too.

Wow, a three-story bookstore! Sounds like heaven. Of course, I feel like I'm in heaven whenever I'm in any bookstore. Yes, if there are books around, that's usually where I'll be, too.
