Shannon’s Thoughts:

This mini-series breaks off from the Hellblazer series, with John Constantine. Constantine is a mysterious man who knows about the dark arts. He lives and breathes darkness. He traces a story about a girl who may be connected to strange deaths.

This is my first delve into comics about Constantine. I have seen the movie with Keanu and watched the short-lived tv series. After reading this I see how the tv series was closer to the comics than the movie was. This story in particular was dark and since this was the first part no real resolution. The story kept my attention all the way through. I really want to know more about what happens with the girl and what is wrong with her.

This graphic novel was too short. I had hope for more and not so many questions, but I would still read again.

If you enjoy the John Constatine from the original tv series and the character on the CW channel Legends Of Tomorrow you will enjoy the comics.
