Shannon’s Thoughts:

T-Bone starts out as a lonely horse who isn’t good enough to race and spends his time alone in a barn.   Along comes a lonely little girl who bonds with T-Bone and together they help each other create joyful memories.

Usually when I get a children’s picture book with a brightly colored book cover and pictures inside.  The story is not very good.  T-Bone The Flying Horse is the exception.  It’s prose is cute, lovingly and magical.  The characters did give a good feeling  in your heart. For a short picture book that is rare.

The only weak point I feel is the bright coloring but in someway I like the brightness too. I am a little unsure why.  The drawing is very good though.

I think that another book with T-Bone is in order.   The ending left me wanting more.
