What is it About?

A computer savvy girl, with a hard past finds her present colliding with a magazine journalist. Together they will discover the mystery behind the disappearance of Harriet Vanger.

My Thoughts:

Slowly we are introduced to the Vanger family, which will bring Salanger and Blomkvist for a family mystery. As the story picks up back and forth we are introduced to the present life of Salanger (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) and Blomkvist (journalist). Both are struggling with their lives.

The book moves really slow in the beginning. I even put the book away for a while after reading the first chapter. Then I watched the original movie on the book it became easier to read and to picture the people in the story. It picks up through the middle but then when you feel like “Is this ever going to end?”. It just goes on and on.

I enjoyed it for probably the shock entertainment since some things that happened are pretty horrid. I would read the second book even though I feel it may have the same issues as this one.
