My Thoughts: As the title says, this is a book of children’s poems for holidays such as Easter, Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Valentine’s day.

The poems simple and not really memorable. They all rhyme, but all poems don’t have to rhyme, and I think these poems could have been even better if they didn’t. It seemed like each poem was built around the rhymes instead of building around the things written about. I was a little disappointed.

For children, I think they will like the pictures, but I don’t feel the poems grab attention.

About the Author: Barbara Bryan has written two other children books: Save the Golden Tree and Just For Fun. There was no website that I could find for her.
