Refer a book Friday Giveaway!

It's Friday and someone is going to win a book this weekend! Okay if you don't know the deal. Post in the Comments your book recommendations. You only need to post one. If you have a blog and have reviewed it leave a link to your review. If you don't have a blog just tell me what you liked about the book. I think I should make note since some of the books you can win are kids books and if you are younger then 18 you should ask your parents to play along first because if you win I will need a mailing address. I only mention this because I have seen a lot of searches for the kids books marked for the Free 4 Refer A Book Friday.

As for what you can win you have two choices one is to pick book from the pile of books under Free 4 Refer A Book Friday or if you don't like any of the books in that pile you may pick a book from your wish list. If you have any questions feel free to email me lavenderagate(at)yahoo(dot)com.

Sometimes it feels like I'm living on coffee lately, so I'm going to recommend Uncommon Grounds by Sandra Balzo. I read it before I began my blog, so no review. In my opinion, it's one of the better first in a series books that I've read lately. You can read an excerpt here.

I recommend Chains by Laurie Halse Anderson. It is one of the best books of the year. Well-written, historical fiction.

I recommend One Child by Torey Hayden. My review is here.

I would love to recommend Song Of The Sparrow by Lisa Ann Sandell. It's another wonderful YA book that capture and hold your attention until you want to read it over and over again.

I participated in the Noon Time chat this week for Chasing Windmills by Catherine Ryan Hyde. It was great, and my final review is here:
