I recommend to you I'm with Stupid by Elaine Szewczyk. It's an entertaining chick-lit novel. See my review at this link: http://alessandrasplace.blogspot.com/2008/08/book-review-im-with-stupid.html

This week's recommendation is The Underneath by Kathi Appelt. It is one of my favorite books of the year, it is just beautiful; dark but beautiful. The language, the characters, everything about this one just works.

Okay, I'm going with Tomato Girl by Jayne Pupek. It's told from the point of view of an 11 year old girl struggling to make sense of a life that has delivered him some serious blows.

My recommendation would be...Wicked Game by Jeri Smith-Ready. The first book is out now, and the second in the series is due out in May I believe. It has Vampire DJ's, a kick ass main girl, and music galore from many generations.
I love the storyline, Shane is one the greatest vampires I've read about, and the whole vampire thing in general is a bit different then other books and that's always nice!
