Booking Through Thursday

It’s a holiday weekend here in the U.S., so let’s keep today’s question simple–What are you reading? Anything special? Any particularly juicy summer reading?

Let see it really depends on where I am at the time because in different places I read different things.

1. Home - I am reading The Long March by Sun Shuyun. It's about major part of China's history.
2. In the Car - I am listening to Off Season by Catherine Murdock. The sequel to Dairy Queen.
3. At the bookstore w/ my mom for lunch - I read The Faerie Path by Frewin Jones
4. At bookstore w/hubby - I read Ever by Gail Carson Levine

And soon I will be starting the Host by Stephanie Meyer for Becky's Online Reading Group. I wouldn't call any of them a juicy summer read .. .maybe the Faerie Path.

Hmm. What does mom and hubby do while you read? I suppose they each have a book.

I have books in different places, too, but not as many as you.

I also haven't heard of any of these (well, except for the Stephanie Meyer). I need to go investigate a bit...

smilingsal - They read and we talk inbetween. Mom is reading Sisters by Danielle Steel and hubby usually picks up a bunch of books, usually something with Neil Gaiman.

Susan - Yeah I have a tend to read a lot of books at once. My hubby doesn't know how I keep track. lol

I like your answer. I read books with different groups of people. Certain books with friends, in bookclubs, that sort of thing.

I have heard good thing about Stephanie Meyer books but I'm trying avoid it. Because I find that vamps isn't my cup of teas, although I do like to read other paranormal elements.

Happy Reading and 4th of July! Have a good weekend ahead!

I tend to read different things in different parts of the house, and always have a mystery or something light in my purse for when I get stuck waiting places.

I'm currently working on a couple of different things, but the one that has my attention right now is Susanna Barlow's memoir, What Peace There May Be. It's the story of her years growing up in a polygamous community and really puts a human face on the issue since it's told from her perspective growing up as the middle child.
