Shannon’s Thoughts:

The Queen of fairies leaves Nix to protect the forest from humans. As he awaits his Queen’s return to bring him back to the home he remembers best. He sets traps to keep humans away from the forest. Soon, Nix learns things about his past and his fairy family he doesn’t remember.

Wicked Nix takes a twist that reminds me of Irish fairy tales. It is a short story for kids and is enjoyable. The ending is bittersweet.

I would have liked to see other fairies and what the fairy world looked like. It needed more actual details about the fairy world.

The story was sad and magical. I enjoyed it very much. It felt like an old fairy tale.
