What is it About?
One half of a skein of geese begin there life together near a cabin a and other half rest while one of the geese heals.  The ones at the cabin are watched over by a pair of people who think they are the guardian of the geese.

My Thoughts:

This book starts out with the story told by the geese.  Two brothers who decide to pick there mate for life and start a family.   There parents and grandparents decide not to fly with them because one father has glass stuck in his foot.   The younger couples are watched by the people who picnic at the lake and cabin.

I found the story of the geese and they way they talk and react to be believable but yet I found that the people in the story where not as believable.  I don’t know what that says about me being able to relate to a gaggle of geese instead of the humans.  I could relate to the people a little it was just the way they conversed  with each other that I could not fathom.  The geese had better conversations.

I don’t know how much of the story or facts on geese are true.  It did make me want to read more about geese even though I have not followed through on it yet.  It did make them more interesting to read about. A fun read.
