Winner For RABF 3/01/09!!

The winner of Refer A Book Friday is Kristi! Thank you Kristi for recommending And There Were None by Agatha Christie! Your review of it is what sold me that and that 401 people gave it 5 stars at Amazon. 401 out of 600! I have never read any Agatha Christie either and this will be my first.

BookWormz - I have seen In the Wood by Tana French in the bookstore and picked it looked at the back cover and it hasn't really grabbed me.

Aerin - People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks would have been my second. I struggled over this one and And There Were None. This one does sound interesting.

Ann Diana Dinh - The Rules of Survival by Nancy Werlin I can't say it is not a book that doesn't interest me but books with child abuse is a touchy subject with me.

scottsgal - You recommend James Patterson the alex Cross Series. I am interested to know why somany people like James Patterson but it's not at the top of my list. Maybe some day though.

mari - Glad you got the book and thanks for stopping by!

Amy - This book would have been my 3rd pick. I do like YA novels and this has gotten great review including yours.

SmilingSal - Age before Beauty (Sister-to-Sister, Book 2) by Virginia Smith is good review from you but the book just didn't interest me. Sorry.

Angela - "Child 44" by Tom Rob Smith seems a little two dark IMO and little graphic from what I just read of a review at Amazon the way the children are killed *grimaces* I don't think I would be able to get through it.

Thanks everyone for playing there were quite a few of you this week. I am wondering should I change Refer A Book Friday to Refer a Book Weekends. It might give people more of a chance to comment. What do you think?

No problem - I like the listing of books that gets generated from other people's opinions.

I think I might have a higher tolerance for violence than most. But then when I'm watching a movie, I grimace at most violence nowadays!

Might not be a bad idea. I get a ton of comments on the weekends, and less during the week.

Shannon - I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I hope to get to some more Agatha Christie soon!
