Well here we go the first Refer A Book Friday of the New Year! If you haven't played before you recommend a book in the comments. I then choose a book and add it to my TBR Mt and review sometime later. If you are picked you get to pick a book from Refer A Book Friday Free Book Pile.
I decided to take the the part about getting a book from your wishlist out.
WE WILL NOT HAVE THE WISHLIST CHOICE ANY LONGER.

I don't think I've recommended this one yet, but if I have then I apologize for my forgetfulness. I'm going to recommend Eon:Dragoneye Reborn by Alison Goodman. (I thought I recommended it last time, but I guess I didn't.) It's a young adult fantasy book, and I thought it would be a good read even for those not into fantasy. Here's my review: http://athomewithbooks.blogspot.com/2008/12/eon-dragoneye-reborn-by-by-alison.html

I would recommend A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court by Mark Twain. It's the book that first got me hooked on reading, about a factory owner/inventor who gets knocked on the head and transported back in time to King Arthur's court, where he proceeds to start industrializing! Very funny, and unlike Twain's other works (I never did like Tom Sawyer or Huck Finn). It's not only entertaining, it has some interesting (subtle) commentary on modern industrialization and warfare.

this past month I read Bel Canto by Ann Patchett. A wonderful book that I am sure you would enjoy. You can find my review here.

I recommend Need by Carrie Jones. This one is good for those that like Stephenie Meyer and Melissa Marr.

I've just finished an amazing book titled The Pelican Trees. It's truly one of a kind. As far as I know, it's fairly new, as it was just recently listed on amazon.com/kindle. I enjoyed reading it so much. And it's right on target with God's Holy Word. Has anyone here read it?
