I am in New York at Macy during Xmas time with David Sedaris. He has a job as a Santaland elf. He got bored of telling people "Step up and see Santa!", so instead he said " Step up and see Cher!" He is shortly removed from that area of Santaland. (Holidays on Ice "Santaland" by David Sedaris)
I am in Germany. Watching children steal apples and vegatables from farms with a group of friends. The farmer almost catches them as he chases after them with an axe. (The Book Thief by Markus Zusak)
