I would love to recommend Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. You've probably heard all the craze about it but it truly is an amazing debut book! An original plot beautifully crafted.

I want to recommend I Know It's Over by C.K. Kelly Martin. It is a surprisingly great book from a debut author. It's YA romance from a guy's perspective. I'd say I'd recommend this to fans of John Green or Sara Zarr.

I'd like to recommend City of Ember. It is a YA book, and it is one of the best I've read in a long time. The characters are wonderful and the plot is swift.

I'm going to go with the flow and recommend another YA book =) My recommendation is for Artichoke's Heart by Suzanne Supplee.

I don't know if anyone has said it yet before but I just read and loved In Your Room by Jordanna Fraiberg.

I should have a review up soon, but it's a great, unique story. I loved how it was in both a male and female point of views.
