My recommendation for this week is Lament: The Faerie Queen's Deception by Maggie Stiefvater. A wonderful read that just came out earlier this month!

OK, I'm only half way through this one, but I love it enough to recommend it: Home Girl, Building a Dream House on a Lawless Block by Judith Matloff.

Happy Halloween!

If you want a good ghost story that isn't too long try Jade Green by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor. My review is here

My recommendation for this week would be Phenomenal Girl 5 by A. J. Menden.

Great, unique story with a a wonderful and witty heroine...who is a superhero! It's definitely worth checking out.

I am going to recommend An Abundance of Katherines by John Green. I read it for the YA book Club which is their pick for November, I finished it today, a bit early , it was so good. My first John Green book. Loved it. go here to see more about it.

I'm only halfway through mine, too, but it's great. Same Kind of Different As Me: A Modern-Day Slave, an International Art Dealer, and the Unlikely Woman who Bound Them Together by Ron Hall & Denver Moore, with Lynn Vincent. Ok, that's a mouthful. Great book.

Wow Shannon,
You hav some tough choices this week! My rec. s "Deadly Night" by Heather Graham, it is the first of the Flynn Brothers Trilogy. Takes place in New Orleans, with a mansion, ghost, murder? well at least bones and of course romance. Very good so far and I am about 1/2 way.
Good Luck with your pic this week!
Thank you
