Put your recommendations in the comments! Link your reviews! Tell me why you like the book. I will pick a book from the comments and add it to my TBR pile and that person who recommended the book will win a book from this pile here. Or a win a book from your wishlist. I could use some more good audio books to listen to.

This week my suggestion is The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. It's the epistolary post-WW2 tale of Juliet, a British writer, and her friendship with the members of the aforementioned literary society. A fast, endearing read. See my review.

A great book...to read or listen to on audio...is Life As We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer. This is one of my favorite, favorite books. It came out a few years ago, 2006 I believe, and I've already read it four or five times. I've blogged about it so much in these past few years...and I led an online discussion group of it. Almost everybody loved it :)

Here's my first review of the book.

My recommendation this week has to be Tomato Girl by Jayne Pupek. My copy finally arrived earlier this week and I absolutely loved it! Although the audio version hasn't come out as of yet, it's a wonderful story that I hope you'll love as well~

How about a free podcast audio book? Murder at Avedon Hill by P. G. Holyfield. http://www.pgholyfield.com/maah/

I just started listening to the podcast and really liked it. The website looks pretty cool too.

I would love to recommend The Shape of Mercy by Susan Meissner. It just came out last month and many bloggers are talking about it. The story is about the Salem witch trials but written very well. I really enjoyed it =D

Well, I am new to audiobooks, having only listened to one. Are you a fan of Dr. Who? David Tennant? If so, there are some DR. Who based books available read by David Tennant. He reads wonderfully, does all the voices. I just listened to the Stone Rose.

I also just bought A christmas story of of iTunes read by Jim Dale. I can't wait to start this one. I have listened to a bit of it and he is a terrific reader. I wish I could afford to buy the Harry Potter audiobooks just to here them read by him.

I haven't actually listened to an audio before...though i really do want to check it out.

I'd suggest...A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby. It's an amazing story told from the point of view of a few people (men and women, young and old, etc.) It deals with suicide...but not in a depressing way!!!
I love it. It probably has an audio.

Okay, hold on to your seat.....this is a "Regency Romance" and is called "Halloween Magic" by Sandra Heath. Quirky, Halloween, Romance, History and Witchcraft. A fast fun and brainless read!
