It's Tuesday, Where are you?

Today I am in (I believe) Kentucky where for year my family decides to grow their own vegetables and raise there own food. (Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver)

So far the book is very interesting. I am learning things about food that I didn't know. It also interesting because I have always wonder what it was like to work on a farm. My great grandparents where farmers in St. Clair, PA. I tried to find a picture of just the farm but most of the pictures it is just in the back ground. I think they are still nice to look at though. So here is some picture of my family on an old farm in PA.

This is my great grandmother Rose Ann Kilpatrick and my father .

See more of the farm in the background this my Great Aunt Rose, her father James Kilpatrick and my grandmother Virginia. All long gone...

I want to read this book. It's been a big idea here in the news, supporting the local farmers and how wrong it is to be buying vegetables that are imported when we can grow them ourselves. By ourselves, I just mean locally. I think I've changed my habits a little already. Nothing radical, but a little.
