What are your favourite final sentences from books? Is there a book that you liked specially because of its last sentence? Or a book, perhaps that you didn’t like but still remember simply because of the last line?
This is hard again because I don't remember lines but one book came in mind that and was surprising till the end. And is The Kin Of Ata Are Waiting For You by Dorothy Bryant. I had to ask someone at Book mooch who had the book handy as mine is packed in storage. Lucky me I got a reply and I thank that person. Anyway here it is - "You have only to want It, to believe in It, and tonight, when you close your eyes, you can begin your journey."

Wow! Great last line.
The ending line is almost like the end of a movie. Beautiful!
this is a great line!
Wonderful line - it makes me really curious about the book.
That is a great line!

I have not read that book...but I like the last line.
That's a great last line.
I do like that last line. I was supposed to read this book for a class I took as an undergrad. I confess that I did not read it and faked my way through the discussion. I should give it another look.
This is one of my favorite books. A lot of self-discovery.
