Celebrate Every Day With Books
It seems like everyday has some new theme to celebrate so I thought it might be fun to see what kind of interesting books I can find (new, old, or coming soon) for an everyday holiday. In fact, most days have more than one holiday!
TODAY
IS
MAY 26TH 2020
WORLD DRACULA DAY
“Bram Stoker's Gothic horror novel Dracula was first published on today's date in 1897, by Archibald Constable and Company in Britain. It sold for six shillings and came bound in yellow cloth with red lettering. It was first printed in the United States two years later, by Doubleday & McClure of New York City. Although not the first novel about vampires, it became a model for the genre, and laid the foundation for future vampire stories, with its introduction of the character Count Dracula.” (from checkiday.com)
Just so you know I have not read most of these but the ones I pick seem the most interesting and would like to read. You can probably find tons more books for each holiday but I am only going to pick two books for one holiday a day.
Let me know what you think. Do any of them seem interesting to you? Is there another book you think would be a better choice?

Title: The Dracula Murders by Philip Daniels
Genre: Fiction, Mystery
What It Is About?: “The Festival of Horror Ball was a great success, with everyone dressed as vampires, werewolves, and assorted monsters. The fun was interrupted by a spectral figure calling himself Nosferatu, who warned the merrymakers they were tampering with the unknown. People dismissed him as a crank until a girl was found ritualistically murdered.” (from Goodreads.com)
